Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from the loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was not able to make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a Performance of the Night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
