Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actress also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her acting journey began as a theater actress and then appeared in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. Her most well-known roles were in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as in BET's massive The Book of Negroes. Both series received major praise from critics, and she also won a lot of awards. Her debut on stage as Ariel as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include the Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her role in the series Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. In her television work, she has been praised for her role as a regular character on ABC's police drama High Incident.
